Newport Mooloolaba is again sponsoring the Australian Etchells Winter Championships being raced on Mooloolaba Bay during the Queen's Birthday long weekend in June 2010.

Newport Mooloolaba also sponsors the Mooloolaba Accommodation Bowls Bonanza 2010, which starts on 12th June and ends on 27th June 2010, with Newport Mooloolaba sponsoring the Newport Open Pairs on Wednesday 16th June 2010 with total prize money of $1500.

Newport Mooloolaba is proud to sponsor the inaugural Sydney to Mooloolaba cycling Tour de Cure. This is a fund raiser for cancer research. The Tour de Cure cyclists arrive in Mooloolaba on Sunday 16th May 2010.

Anyone booking for the Australian Etchells Winter Championships, Mooloolaba Accommodation Bowls Bonanza 2010 or supporters of Tour de Cure are eligible to a 10% discount on accommodation when they book by 30th April, 2010 and mention their participation in or support of the event.
